Why Encore exists

I built Encore because I wanted a concert diary — a place to keep nights I already lived — not another app that tells you who is touring.

After a show, the photos sit in Camera Roll next to everything else. Encore is where I put the night back together: the artist, the venue, the people I was with, the clips I want to see again.

Photos and videos stay on the iPhone. They are never uploaded. iCloud does not sync the app; only the Photos library you already use.

The app is social, on purpose. Friend codes, profiles, a feed — for your crew, not for discovering strangers' tours. You can log a date you already have. There is no Songkick-style discovery and no tour alerts.

I wrote the longer story here.

Why Encore exists — a concert diary, not a discovery app
