A festival tracker app to log the festivals you’ve been to

Encore is an iPhone diary (iOS 18 or later) for festivals you have already been to. Create a festival with its dates and city, then add or link the shows you saw, grouped by day, each with a rating, notes and photos. Share it with friends by invite link. Free up to 10 concerts; each set counts as one.

Competitor facts come from each product’s own public pages, linked at the bottom, read on 2026-10-19. We read them; we did not run the competitor apps. Encore facts come from this site and from Encore version 1.6.0.

How festival logging works in Encore

Encore has no festival database, so you build each festival yourself. This is the flow in version 1.6.0.

1. Create the festival

In your archive, long-press the add tile to switch from adding a concert to adding a festival. Enter a name, the dates (three days by default), a city and, if you like, notes, and pick a poster from your photo library.

2. Add the sets you saw

Open the festival and add a concert from there: the date, the city and any friends you tagged on earlier sets are filled in. Or link concerts already in your diary; Encore suggests the ones that fall on the festival’s dates. Each set is a normal Encore concert: artist, venue, date, rating, notes, photos and videos.

3. Read it day by day

The festival page groups the sets by day, like a lineup, under its poster. The poster, dates and lineup are what you entered; Encore does not look up lineups, stages or set times.

4. Share it with friends (optional)

Publish the festival to a shared group and send an invite link. Friends who join see the crew and the lineup and mark which sets they attended. The poster is uploaded only if you agree, and any member can leave the group.

5. See it in your stats

Each set is a concert in your diary, so it counts in your stats and in your year-end wrapped.

6. Keep it

Photos and videos stay on your iPhone. If you sign in, the text details of your concerts (artist, venue, date, rating, notes) are backed up to Encore’s servers. This version cannot restore that backup after a reinstall or a new phone, and nothing syncs between devices.

Is it a good fit?

Good fit if you

  • have an iPhone on iOS 18 or later and want a private record of festivals you have already been to
  • are fine typing the festival name and adding each set you saw yourself (nothing is pre-loaded)
  • want each set to be a full diary entry, with a rating, notes, and photos and videos that stay on the iPhone
  • want to share a festival with friends and see which sets each of them marked

Not a fit if you

  • use Android or want a web app: Encore is iPhone only
  • want lineups, stages and set times filled in for you: Encore has no festival database
  • want setlists filled in: Encore has no setlist feature (you can write one by hand in a set’s notes)
  • want to scan a ticket to add a festival: Encore does not scan tickets
  • want to find festivals, check the lineups of upcoming ones or buy tickets: Encore is not a tour finder
  • want to import your history from another app: this site describes no import

Worth knowing first

  • Each set you add is a concert in your diary, so it counts toward the free plan’s 10-concert limit and toward your stats. The festival itself is not counted as a concert. A weekend with eight sets uses eight of the ten.
  • Sets you only mark in a friend’s shared festival are not added to your own diary and do not count toward your limit.
  • Joining from an invite link requires signing in.

How other diaries handle festivals

Checked October 2026 (pages read 2026-10-19), from each product’s own public pages, linked in the last column. We read the pages; we did not run the apps. “The page does not say” means exactly that, not that the feature is missing. Pages change, and this is not a ranking.

Questions

Is festival logging free, or is it a Premium feature?

Festival logging is part of the free plan: Encore is free to download, with all features unlocked, limited to 10 concerts. Premium removes the limit. On the US App Store on 5 Oct 2026 it was $1.99 a week, $9.99 a year, or $25.99 once. Other countries can differ.

Does each set I add count toward the limit and my stats?

Yes. Each set is a concert in your diary, so it uses one of the 10 free slots and counts in your stats. The festival itself is not counted as a concert. Sets you only mark in a friend’s shared festival are not added to your diary.

Can my friends join a festival I logged?

Yes. Share the festival with an invite link. Friends who join see the crew and the lineup and can mark which sets they attended. They need Encore on an iPhone with iOS 18 or later and must sign in. The poster is uploaded only if you agree, and any member can leave the group.

Is there an Android or web version for festivals?

No. Encore is iPhone only and needs iOS 18 or later. There is no Android app and no web app.

Do my festival photos leave my iPhone?

Photos and videos stay on your iPhone. The only images Encore uploads are a profile photo you set and, if you choose to share it, the poster of a shared festival. If you sign in, the text details of your concerts (artist, venue, date, rating, notes) are backed up to Encore’s servers; this version cannot restore that backup.

Does Encore fill in a festival’s lineup or setlists?

No. There is no festival database: you type the name and dates and add each set you saw yourself. Encore has no setlist feature (you can write one by hand in a set’s notes) and does not scan tickets.
