The facts

What it is
Encore is an iPhone concert diary for shows you've been to: photos that stay on the phone, ratings, and stats. You log them yourself, after the night.
Who it is for
People who want a record of nights they already lived.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for who is touring, a place to buy tickets, or alerts for upcoming shows. Songkick and Bandsintown do that.
Phone
iPhone only. Encore needs iOS 18 or later.
Photos
Your concert photos and videos stay on the iPhone. The only images Encore uploads are a profile photo you set and, if you choose to share it, a festival poster for a shared festival group (new). If you sign in, Encore backs up your concert details (artist, venue, date, rating, and notes) to its servers. This version cannot restore that backup after reinstalling or changing phones. The app does not sync through iCloud. Apple iCloud Photos, if you use it, is separate from Encore.
Backup
If you sign in, Encore backs up your concert details (artist, venue, date, rating, and notes) to its servers. Photos and videos stay on your iPhone. This version cannot restore that backup after reinstalling or changing phones. Signing in is optional. Without it, nothing about your concerts is uploaded.
Price
Free to download. On the US App Store, Premium is $1.99 a week, $9.99 a year, or $25.99 once.
Friends and the feed
Friends are people you add, including with a friend code. The feed is that crew. It is not an open network, and it does not show strangers’ tours.
What you keep
The artist, the venue, the date, and a rating, with photos and videos that stay on the phone. Encore also has stats, a year-end wrapped, and a concert passport.
Festivals
New: log a festival with its lineup by day and link the shows you saw there. You can share a festival with friends through an invite link, and they can mark which sets they attended.
Who builds it

Questions

Is there an app to track concerts you’ve been to, like Letterboxd for concerts?

Yes. Encore is an iPhone concert diary: you log each concert you’ve been to (artist, venue, date, rating, notes, and photos and videos that stay on your iPhone). You log and rate shows the way you would films on Letterboxd, but Encore is a private diary, not a public review site. New in 1.6.0: you can log festivals with their lineup by day and link the shows you saw there. Over time, your stats and show history build up from what you log. See how it compares on the best concert apps page, or read why Encore exists.
